Dear West Springs families,

As we prepare to welcome your children next week and get ready for students' learning at WSS, there is a buzz of excitement in the school that is extra special this year. Our school is a place where learning is at the core of everything we do, and we are committed to helping students reach new heights and achieve success in their learning and personal growth. Now more than ever, we believe that human connection is what fosters the safe and welcoming community we are so proud of here at West Springs School. When children feel seen, valued, and connected to their teachers, classmates, and community, they build a strong sense of belonging. Belonging gives them the confidence to take risks, try new things, and discover their unique gifts.  

This year, we will continue to focus on building strong reading skills, critical thinkers and kind citizens while helping every child build meaningful connections with their learning, with each other, and with the world around them. These connections are what create a safe, supportive, and inspiring place where students can truly flourish.
