Parking
Please be mindful of traffic safety every day. We have noticed an increase of parents using the hug and go as long term parking. This space needs to be available to ease the flow of traffic. The area from the front door towards West Ridge School is a bus only zone. Please do not park in that area

Remembrance Day Assembly – Message from Mr. Vooys
Hello West Springs Families,
On November 10 at 10:45 we'll be having our Remembrance Day Assembly. Thank you to all the kids who brought art for our slide show. I'll be making the slide show early next week, so Monday will be the deadline for art submissions.
In many years in the past, the Grade Fours ran the Remembrance Day Assembly, but we're trying something new this year and I'm running it this year with Ms. McKenzie. It will be a bit smaller than in past years; there will be a slideshow with art from the kids, the Grade 4s will sing a song, and we'll have a few other small elements. If you'd like to attend, you're welcome to join us; seating will be limited.
Grade 4 parents: if your child can wear a white top and black pants or skirt, that would be great, but not mandatory. All black is good, too.
If your child is in Cubs/Scouts/Guides/Etc, if they'd like to wear their uniform, this would be a great day for this. We'll be having a few of the kids in uniforms lay the wreath during the assembly.
Have a great weekend, thanks, Mr. Vooys
