Report cards are now available online
Families can view, download and/or print online student report cards from June 25 – July 30, 2026. Should you have any questions about your student's report card, their teacher is the first line of contact. Appeals Day is June 29 until noon.
Parents and Guardians can sign in to MyCBE to view student information, including report cards, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades, and attendance information. For best access to information, log in to the MyCBE portal instead of using the PowerSchool App.

Farewells
We have one more farewell to announce. Ms. Magdalena Nasr will be moving away from Calgary with her family. Ms. Nasr has taught at West Springs School for the past 8 years and will be missed. We wish Ms. Nasr and family the very best as they set off on a new adventure.
I also would like to thank the West Springs community for having me as your acting principal for the past few months. West Springs is an amazing school, and it was a pleasure being part of this vibrant school community.

Student Fees
We currently have over $2000 still outstanding in 2025-2026 field trip/activity fees. Vendor’s invoices are paid by the school either at the time of booking, or after the event, and unpaid fees directly impact on our available school budget. We encourage parents to log into their MyCBE accounts, check for unpaid fees, and make payments as soon as possible. Thank you
Summer Reading Challenge
The Calgary Public Library is hosting another Summer Reading Challenge. Library cards are free to sign up for. This is a really fun way to continue to grow your child's reading skills across the summer break.
