Our storytelling residency with Mr. Jeff continued this week with an exciting twist; we met our multi-aged group teammates and teacher leaders!

All of the grade 1-4 students met in the gymnasium on Thursday morning, and we re-grouped into teams of 10-12 students with a teacher leader. It was very fun to meet each other, pick a team name and talk about our storytelling adventures so far.

Here are some high-level details about the evening celebration that will take place as a culminating event for this residency: 

Storytelling with Mr. Jeff Celebration Event 

  • Performances for ALL students take place either April 23 OR 24 from 5:45 – 7:00pm 
  • Kindergarten students will begin the performance with a whole group presentation each night in the gym 
  • Individual storytelling experiences will then take place in the multi-age groups in classrooms around the school 
  • Each child in grades 1-4 will tell their story for their family members and a small audience in a classroom 
  • There is also a Choir performance each evening 
  • Families will receive an official invitation and 2 tickets per family next week  

West Ridge School Open House 

We would like to let you know that West Ridge School is having an Open House next Thursday, April 10th, from 6.30-8 pm for grade 4 students and their families.
