Dear West Springs Families,
As we approach the final week of the school year, there is a buzz of excitement in the air. Students are eagerly looking ahead to summer, and with that anticipation can come big emotions and extra energy. This is a natural part of the transition, and it’s something we see every year.
During this time, we are gently reminding students to take care of themselves and each other. Taking care of our emotions and feelings – what we call self-regulation – can be especially challenging right now, and friendships may need extra care and understanding. At school, we continue to talk about kindness, empathy, and making thoughtful choices — and we appreciate your support in reinforcing these messages at home.

Transportation Registration Deadline Sunday June 22nd
This is a reminder that transportation registration for next year closes this Sunday, June 22, 2025. Eligible families can do so via your MyCBE account (find support here). Registrations received after the deadline are not guaranteed to have a bus stop assigned to them for the first day of school and may have a 6-8 week wait before they are assigned to a bus.
