Dear West Springs Families, 

The weather was rainy, but it felt sunny inside the school on Beach Day!  It was fun to see all the staff and students ready for some fun in the sun, even if the Calgary weather didn’t cooperate. 

Thanks to the volunteers who helped during Fun Lunch.  This special opportunity is really looked forward to each month and we so appreciated the organizing committee and volunteers who helped distribute lunch on the day. 

On Thursday evening the school was full of excitement as we officially welcomed our future kindergarten students and their families to West Springs School.

• June 3/4 Grade 3 – Clay for kids - in school field trip (on-site) 
• June 6 School Council Meeting 6:30pm - Please join us! 
• June 7 Catch up vaccinations 9:30 am 
• June 10 Chief Superintendent Joanne Pitman visiting West Springs School 
• June 12 Coffee and Conversation 10am – Volunteer Appreciation 
• June 12 WSSDA meat fundraiser pickup  
• June 13 Fun Fair – School Council-sponsored event after school 

• June 13 ALL Library Books must be returned to school
