Minecraft Design Challenge Finalists from WSS!
We are very proud to announce that a group of students in Ms. Baskerville and Ms. DeLongchamp’s Grade 3 class were selected by a judging committee as one of three finalists across all of Calgary for the Div I Green Line Station category for the Level Up Calgary Season 3: Parks and Portals - Minecraft Design Challenge. The winner will be announced at a special award ceremony in June with dignitaries from the CBE and the City of Calgary. Congratulations to the finalists and all of our students who submitted projects. We will be sharing the submissions at an assembly in June.
Hats off for Mental Health Day

School Planning Results
Thank you to everyone who participated in our school planning engagement last month. We know we make better decisions to support student learning when we build understanding and work together. Results from this survey have been posted to the school website under the Get Involved tab.
Upcoming School Council Meeting
Our next school council meeting will be on Thursday, May 16 at 6:00pm (special time!) in the staffroom. This will be the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Our Kindergarten team will be presenting. Please join us!
